Black and white engraved frontispiece portrait of Aubrey de Vere xxth Earl of Oxford and one other black and white engraving: Standard of King William the 4th. and six hand-coloured plates, as issued. The illustrations by G. E. Mandeley depict the various uniforms worn by the horse guards. Bookplate on the inside front cover pasted down.
