Tobacco Felt Rug equivalent to the cigarette cards issued in America as a premium for Turkish Cigarettes in WWII. These tobacco 'carpet' felts were included in tins of loose tobacco for cleaning the user's pipe. Delicate and intricate miniature rug 110mm x 60mm with fringes on both ends. On the back stamped print The Original Rug Luxury Cigarettes Factory No. 7 3rd Dist. of N.Y. Patent License No. 1045372. Somewhat worn in very good condition with no rips, tears or holes. Suitable as rugs for dollhouses.
