This facsimile dedicated to Carlo Goldoni's Servant of Two Masters in German Der Diener Zweier Herren. With German text explanation and 24 page illustrated pamphlet of the Burlesque theatre. Cards are within cut frames inside lightly damaged original box. First pair of cards lightly soiled otherwise all in excellent condition.
NOTE: Servant to Two Masters (Arlecchino servitore di due padroni) is a comedy written in 1753. Carlo Osvaldo Goldoni (1707-1793) was a celebrated Venetian theatrical author ranked among Europe's greatest playwrights. He wrote in French and Italian.
