A university map with extended coats of Arms of Cambridge University Colleges and Halls topped by that of K Sigebert Founder of the University followed by St Peter's House dated 1280, Pembroke Hall 1343, Trinitie (sic) Hall 1347, etc etc including Magdalen (sic) College 1519 and many others. Published in the 'Theatre of the Empire of Great Britain' 1676 edition from the original plates first published 1611. Town plan of Southampton and Newport at lower right and left respectively. Highly decorative with sailing ships fish in water and coats of Arms of local families eg Hen. Beauchamop K of Wight etc. Signs of original colour now faded. Light damage to the lower centre fold prominent even very light foxing. English printed text on reverse in good clean condition. Double glazed plain wood frame. 540mm x 410mm.
