Original colour each map dated with accompanying text sheet. Generally some maps lightly soiled otherwise maps in excellent state. Original leather binding worn and damaged spine with gilt title text 'Cary's English Atlas'. The maps 340mm x 250mm.

Millar 'The New and Universal System of Geography; being a complete History and Description of The Whole World' Body of text only 812 pages include the index. All maps removed except for frontispiece consisting of the two Hemispheres of 1784 which have been cut around the edge of the globe and pasted into the inside front cover and first page. Soiled and damaged showing original colour and part of title cartouche with date 1784. Original cloth and leather binding damaged and many loose leafs complete text lacking maps and illustrations. Poor damaged condition perfectly legible.
