The term conventional troops refers to the military forces raised by the French National Assembly to defend the 1792 Revolution from foreigners intent on preserving the monarchy. Generally in good condition without major faults or tears. 575mm x 492mm NOTE: J B Homann was born in Oberkammlach, Schwabia (Germany) flourished from early 1690s establishing his own firm in 1702. In 1707 he published his first Atlas. He was Geographer to the Holy Roman Emperor and member of the Prussian Royal Academy of Sciences. Homann Heirs took over the firm from 1730.
